
Kota Gede, situated in the Yogyakarta region of Java Island is one of the Indonesia Java International Destination. Kota Gede is often referred by the name Sargede and it is located at a distance of five kilometers from the south east side of Yogyakarta. The cemetery of the kings of Mataram is still visible in the cemetery complex of KotaGede. The cemetery of kings like Ngabei Loring Pasar who is considered as the creator of the Mataram kingdom is still present in the complex. The other tourist attraction of Kota Gede is the distinct tomb of Ki Ageng Mangir. Half of this king’s dead body was buried inside the special are for kings and the other half of his body was buried outside the special complex.
